This article is about how media perpetuates skin color bias — also known as colorism or shadeism.

Although the author did not address racism directly (and may or may not be aware of the history of colorism), your impression that two phenomena are related is correct.

If you oppose racism as ardently as you seem to claim, perhaps you will take some time to learn more about it and it’s various manifestations ?

And even if solely for the sake of strengthening your interpersonal skills in general, I do hope that you will also seek to learn more about the lived experiences of others before attempting to invalidate them.
