Yes, it piles up.

And actually, the “natural” Band-Aids ARE a big deal. What little girl wants to go around advertising that she played too rough on the playground? What teenage girl wants to wear anything that isn’t perfectly coordinated with her outfit and her skin tone? What grown woman wants to draw attention to herself at work with brightly colored bandages when she gets a paper cut or breaks a nail or stubs her toe? We may as well be wearing the neon green fashion Band-Aids the way the “natural” color appears on darker skin!

Same thing with stockings.

And make-up.

More brands are making more shades available, but we need more!

And what about the little black boy who sees black men and boys violently arrested and even killed by white police — not just on TV and social media — but in real life!?? Does he really need a white band-aid to remind him he is black when he scrapes his knee on the playground?

Not so subtle when you think of this way, is it?
